ICS students (Patrick Karjala, Anna Sikkink), Academy for Creative Media student (Kari Noe), and Learning Technology student (Dean Lodes) demonstrated Kilo Hoku Virtual Reality Voyaging Canoe Simulator at Bishop Museum’s Wayfinder’s Weekend event.
The event was a collaboration between LAVA, Academy for Creative Media System, Booz Allen Hamilton, Barclays, PCATT, the Polynesian Voyaging Society, Smallify, and Hawaii Leadership Forum to create a workforce development network that will utilize Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technology to create meaningful rewarding jobs, diversify the tech economy, and increase creative digital literacy in Hawaii.
