SAGE 2 - The Scalable Adaptative Graphics Environment

SAGE2 follows the successful SAGE software system that is used to drive ultra-high-resolution scalable display walls. The SAGE software enables its users (primarily researchers and engineers) to display, organize and manipulate large quantities of data in the form of visualizations to amplify collaborative sense-making. SAGE received $2M of funding from the National Science Foundation and resulted in over 100 display walls deployed using the software. In the Fall of 2013 NSF awarded $5M for the development of SAGE2 – the next generation of the SAGE software. The goal of SAGE2 is to address the future big data integration needs of the rapidly growing SAGE community by taking advantage of emerging computing technologies.

Project funded by National Science Foundation Advanced Cyber Infrastructure Program (Award# ACI 1441963)
